New York City-based Heartbeat Health has been recognized as one of the world’s top healthtech companies by Time magazine and Statista, a Hamburg, Germany-based data analytics firm.
The ranking recognizes 400 entities “leading innovation in healthcare globally through technology services and tools,” according to a Sept. 23 system news release.
Heartbeat Health, a virtual-first cardiology provider, serves more than 1 million patients nationwide. Its platform combines virtual cardiology, remote diagnostics and coordinated care to expand access and improve early detection of cardiovascular disease.
“By combining virtual cardiology, remote diagnostics and coordinated care, we’re demonstrating that value-based cardiovascular care can be a reality by scaling nationally and making early detection and prevention the standard, not the exception,” Heartbeat Health CEO and founder Jeffrey Wessler, MD, said in the news release.
The recognition comes as the company seeks to expand partnerships with major payers and health systems across the U.S.
