$54M addition to Pennsylvania hospital to include cardiovascular care

Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital finished a $54 million, 100,000-square-foot addition, according to Healthcare Construction and Operations.

The three-story project, called the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion, includes the Center for Heart and Vascular Care on the second floor, which has 28 beds that can be segregated for privacy, the release said. Each bed can also toggle between servicing patients in interventional vascular or cardiovascular care.

The completion of the Center for Heart and Vascular Care was the first of a three-phase project for Doylestown Hospital, the release said.
