Stolen vehicle crashes into Pennsylvania surgery center: 4 key notes

A man crashed a stolen pickup truck into Saint Vincent Surgery Center in Erie, Pa. on May 22, according to Go Erie.com.

1. The suspect allegedly hit a pedestrian before crashing into the surgery center, according to police.

3. Zdzislaw Chorazy, MD, a Saint Vincent urologist, said to Go Erie.com, “It sounded like someone up in the surgery center had dropped a huge tray.”

4. The suspect is undergoing treatment for non life-threatening injuries at UPMC Hamot in Eerie. Police say he faces various charges.
