The LASIK Vision Institute to open new Utah location: 5 key notes

West Palm Beach, Fla.-based The LASIK Vision Institute opened a new facility in Provo, Utah.

Here are five things to know:

1. The new eye center will include laser eye surgery procedure. The LASIK Vision surgeons have performed more than 1.1 million vision corrections to date.

2. This will be the second LVI center in Utah; the first one is in Salt Lake City.

3. The new LVI location in Provo will serve populations of Orem, Lindon, Pleasant Grove and Vineyard, Utah.

4. The LASIK eye procedures offer solutions for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. The technology is FDA approved.

5. The center focuses on providing quality and affordable care.
