NC’s Southeastern Regional Medical Center Moves Closer to Decision on New Surgery Center

The city council of Lumberton, N.C., is expected to refer a petition for a conditional use permit for Southeastern Regional Medical Center’s development of a new facility in Lumberton to the city’s planning board, according to a Robesonian report.

The focus of the facility would be an ambulatory surgery center.

 

After a review by the planning board, a public hearing on the proposed facility will be scheduled.

 

SRMC hopes to have the project approved and be able to break ground in July.
