Ambulatory Surgery Center of Paducah set to expand — 5 things to know

Ambulatory Surgery Center of Paducah (Ky.) is expected to add three operating rooms to the associated Pain Management Center that is moving to a new 30,000-square-foot building, reports the Paducah Sun.

Currently, the ASC and pain management center share a building. The ASC will move into the Pain Management Center’s former office at 2831 Lone Oak Road when construction is expected to be completed. According to the report, the ASC expansion will begin in August.

Here are five things to know about Pain Management Center of Paducah and its ASC:

1. Pain Management Center of Paducah started as a physician’s office and gradually expanded.

2. Renowned surgeon Laxmaiah Manchikanti, MD is the medical director of both the pain management center and ASC.

3. The surgical center was introduced in November 2004.

4. Both centers are accredited by the AAAHC.

5. The combined centers are currently located in a 21,000-square-foot building.
