4 new joint venture ASCs and partnerships — April/May 2018

Here are four new joint venture ASCs and partnerships announced or opened in the past couple months.

Port Jefferson (N.Y.) Surgery Center held its grand opening ceremony May 12, Greater Port Jeff reports. The center was developed as a joint venture between 19 community surgeons, Port Jefferson-based Mather Hospital and Lakewood, Colo.-based Pinnacle III.

Bozeman (Mont.) Health and United Surgical Partners International partnered to build a $20 million ASC in West Bozeman.

Stuart (Fla.) Surgery Center at Martin Health opened. The ASC was developed in partnership with Compass Surgical Partners.

Advanced Surgical Care of Boerne (Texas) opened a surgery center in Boerne and completed its first outpatient total joint replacement. Towson, Md.-based SurgCenter Development developed the center through a partnership. This is SCD’s fifth center in Texas.
