Compass Surgical Partners, Martin Health open GI ASC: 4 key points

Here are four key points.

1. The new ASC is focused on gastroenterology procedures, including screening and treatment for digestive diseases.

2. The ASC expects to achieve AAAHC accreditation and provide a safe, convenient and affordable environment to treat digestive diseases.

3. Martin Health previously partnered with Compass on outpatient surgery options for other services and currently operates Tradition Surgery Center on the Campus of Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

4. Compass Surgical Partners will manage Stuart Surgery Center going forward; the management company has partnered with six hospitals and health systems to open 11 outpatient surgical facilities.
