1. The 6,500-square-foot surgery center opened in March, and its first total joint replacement took place April 7.
2. The center features seven trained and certified orthopedic surgeons. They specialize in total joint replacement and pain management.
3. The center has two operating rooms and a treatment room.
4. Towson, Md.-based SurgCenter Development developed the center through a partnership. This is SCD’s fifth center in Texas.
5. Advanced Surgical Center of Boerne Partner Matthew Morrey, MD, said, “With the opening of Advanced Surgical Care of Boerne, we can provide local residents the high level of personalized care they need and deserve in a setting that is both comfortable and convenient.”
