3 new joint venture ASCs — December 2018/January 2019

Here are three joint venture ASCs opened or announced in the past couple of months:

Melrose, Mass.-based Melrose-Wakefield Healthcare received state approval to build a $16 million ASC at Medford, Mass.-based Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The ASC is a joint venture between Melrose-Wakefield and Worcester, Mass.-based Shields Health Care.

Anchor Health Properties acquired an 80,000-square-foot medical office building through a joint venture with Greenville (S.C.) Health System and Greenville-based Internal Medicine Associates.

Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center cut the ribbon on its $65 million, 100,000-square-foot medical professional building in Oak Brook, Ill., Dec. 11. The facility is a joint venture between Rush and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.
