Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare added two independent directors to its board of directors: John P. Byrnes and Peter M. Wilver. Mr. Byrnes is the former chairman and CEO of Lincare Holdings, based in Chicago. Mr. Wilver serves as the executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Waltham, Mass.-based Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Analysts gave Tenet Healthcare shares a $32 price target. Based on 11 stock opinions, Tenet’s rating score is currently 1.93.
In the third quarter this year, Nashville, Tenn.-based AmSurg’s net revenue reached $822.2 million for the quarter, a 26 percent increase from Q3 FY 2015.
San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co. upgraded AmSurg shares from a “market perform” rating to an “outperform” rating. AmSurg’s market cap. is $3.45 billion.
Headquartered in Houston, Nobilis Health had $19.6 million in total cash as well as $86.2 million in accounts receivable and $23.8 million in total debt as of Sept. 30, 2016.
During the week of Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, Nashville-based Hospital Corporation of America shares plummeted 2.6 percent, trading at $75.33 per share.
