66% of providers to focus on RCM improvement: 5 findings

A Navicure survey found 66 percent of providers plan to focus on improving their overall revenue cycle management process in 2016, according to HIT Consultant.

Here are five findings from the survey.

1. Fifteen percent of providers said they would work toward a value-based care model.

2. An additional 9 percent said they are updating and automating patient collections strategies.

3. The respondents expressed having experienced minimal or no impact on staff productivity in the first few months following ICD-10 implementation.

4. Ninety-nine percent of respondents said they were prepared for ICD-10 implementation.

5. Most participants (60 percent) did not experience any impact on monthly revenue following ICD-10 implementation.
