Flowers Medical Group established pain medicine practice; adds Dr. Joshua Meyer: 3 points

Atlanta-based Flowers Medical Group established a new interventional pain medicine practice and added Joshua Meyer, MD, as the practice’s first provider, according to a Dothan First report.

1. Dr. Meyer is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained pain medicine physician.

2. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and his fellowship in pain medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

3. The new Flowers Medical Group Interventional Pain Medicine will offer a wide array of pain management procedures, including fluoroscopically guided injections and spinal cord stimulators.
