Here are 13 anesthesia group partnerships and acquisitions that have been announced so far this year:

Lewes-based Delaware Anesthesia Associates pledged to make an annual donation of $1,916 to Beebe Healthcare, also in Lewes.

St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif., plans to sever ties with its current anesthesia provider despite backlash from the medical staff. St. Mary selected Harrison, N.Y.-based Somnia Anesthesiology as its new provider, effective Sept. 1.

Traverse City, Mich.-based Traverse Anesthesia Associates entered into a partnership with Munson Healthcare, also in Traverse City, to provide 24/7 care at Manistee (Mich.) Hospital

CRH Medical Corp. completed its fourth acquisition in Georgia. The Vancouver, Canada-based company bought a majority interest in South Metro Anesthesia Associates, a practice in Locust Grove. CRH also acquired Evansville, Ind.-based Anesthesia Care Associates, a gastroenterology anesthesia practice.

Lawrenceburg, Ind.-based Highpoint Health selected Cincinnati-based Seven Hills Anesthesia as its surgical sedation services provider.

Melville, N.Y.-based North American Partners in Anesthesia has made several acquisitions since Jan. 1. NAPA now comprises Prince Frederick, Md.-based CalvertHealth Medical Center‘s anesthesia clinicians; Bethesda, Md.-based Aisthesis Partners in Anesthesia Care; and Exeter (N.H.) Hospital‘s 14 physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetist team.

Nashville, Tenn.-based PhyMed Healthcare Group acquired Phoenix-based Grand Canyon Anesthesia.

Phoenix-based Anesthesia Resources joined Richardson, Texas-based National Partners in Healthcare, a private equity-backed anesthesiologist group in Texas. National Partners in Healthcare tapped National Medical Billing Management to handle its revenue cycle services. 

Anesthesia Consultants of Savannah (Ga.) joined Norcross, Ga.-based anesthesia services provider Epix Healthcare Associates.
