Anesthesia group commits $250K to Delaware hospital

Lewes-based Delaware Anesthesia Associates pledged to make an annual donation of $1,916 to Beebe Healthcare, according to Sussex Living.

Three highlights:

1. DAA’s donation to Beebe supports the 103-year-old hospital’s largest expansion ever. The annual dollar amount is a nod to Beebe’s founding year, and the pledge will be capped at $250,000.

2. DAA will name an operating room, post-anesthesia care unit and staff lounge at Beebe’s new Specialty Surgical Hospital near Rehoboth Beach, Del.

3. DAA joins other donors in the 1916 Leadership Giving Club that have pledged yearly contributions of $1,916 to the nonprofit healthcare system.
