What you should know:

1. The lens was created by RxSight. It is the only FDA-approved intraocular lens implant that can be adjusted after cataract surgery.

2. Two weeks after the lens is implanted, surgeons administer an ultraviolet light treatment and can then adjust the prescription of the lens while it is in the patient’s eye.

3. Horizon Eye Specialists & Lasik Center believes it is the first center in Arizona to use the adjustable lens.
