Gordon-Weiss-Schanzlin Vision Institute Eye Surgeons Perform New LASIK Surgery

The surgeons at Gordon-Weiss-Schanzlin Vision Institute in San Diego were among the first in the world to perform custom wavefront guided LASIK surgery.

The eye surgeons purchased the WaveLight EX500 Excimer Laser and FS200 Femtosecond Laser for precision and speed of correction treatment.  

The new LASIK treatment also brings less stromal dehydration of the cornea during treatment, reduced sensitivity to patient movement and better outcomes.
