American Academy of Ophthalmology Releases Apple & Android Apps

The American Academy of Ophthalmology has announced that its Basic and Clinical Science Course series will be available through Apple iOS and Google Android apps.

The Basic and Clinical Science Course series, which has been produced by the AAO since the 1940s, is designed to be an educational resource for ophthalmology residents and a clinical reference for practicing ophthalmologists.

The AAO is launching the apps in an effort to address the growing physician trend of mobile device use.
