Here are seven recent leadership appointments in the ambulatory and surgical space, as reported by Becker’s:
1. Miami-based Gastro Health named Amanda Connoyer, DNP, vice president of advanced practice strategy and operations Sept. 8.
2. Terry Bohlke was named CEO of Keystone Surgical Partners, a full-service manager of ASCs. Mr. Bohlke takes over as CEO after serving as vice president of ASCs at Community Health Systems, the hospital operator headquartered in Franklin, Tenn.
3. Denver-based Colorado Urology named Megan Rood as its new CEO, according to an Aug. 31 news release. Colorado Urology operates multiple locations across the Denver metro area and integrates radiation oncology, interventional radiology and ASCs alongside urology care delivered by its urologists and advanced practice providers.
4. WashU Medicine named Andrés M. Bur, MD, FACS, chief of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery in its Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
5. The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology named Tracy Young, MSNA, CRNA, its 2026-27 president, effective immediately, the Rosemont, Ill.-based organization announced Aug. 25.
6. Nashville-based SurgNet Health Partners appointed Cathy Kowalski as CEO, according to an Aug. 25 news release shared with Becker’s. Ms. Kowalski brings more than three decades of healthcare leadership experience, including prior roles at Surgical Alliance, Meridian Surgical Partners and most recently Lync Health Partners, where she served as chief operating officer.
7. MetroHealth named Natalie Joseph, MD, chair of its department of surgery, the Cleveland-based health system said in an Aug. 17 news release. Dr. Joseph previously served as interim chair of the department, interim executive director of MetroHealth’s Cancer Institute, director of the division of surgical oncology and director of the Center for Breast Health.
