Terry Bohlke has been named chief executive officer of Keystone Surgical Partners, a full-service manager of ASC, Mr. Bohlke announced on LinkedIn Sept 2.

Keystone Surgical Partners develops new ASCs, strengthens the operations of existing ones, and pairs physician entrepreneurs with the capital partners needed to get centers up and running. Mr. Bohlke takes over as CEO after serving as vice president of ASCs at Community Health Systems, the hospital operator headquartered in Franklin, Tenn.

Mr. Bohlke’s move places another executive with hospital-system ASC experience at the head of a company built specifically around physician-aligned surgery center growth. Keystone Surgical Partners’ model centers on connecting independent physician groups with outside capital and management support, rather than operating centers under a hospital system umbrella.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
