The plan has three main components, the report said. First, an Interagency Health Reform Council was established and will look at ways to find efficiencies in healthcare and align programs, the report said. Second, Regional Accountable Health Councils will develop transformation plans based on community needs to reduce disparities and address social determinants of health. Third, a Health Value Commission will be in charge of holding payers and providers accountable for healthcare cost growth and promote sustainability and affordability in healthcare.
