Here are four quick facts.

1. HipAlign uses micro-electromechanical sensors like accelerometers and gyroscopes to guide hip arthroplasty procedures.

2. Through a phone-like device, HipAlign provides cup navigation and tracks changes in leg length and offset for the direct anterior approach.

3. No pre-operative CT-scan is required using HipAlign.

4. The product was commercially launched at the beginning of 2018.

“HipAlign’s rapid adoption proves there is high demand for a cost effective, minimally disruptive technology that provides increased accuracy and consistency in total hip replacements,” said OrthoAlign Chairman and CEO Eric B. Timko.
