1. The Pure-Vu attaches to colonoscopes to facilitate the cleaning of poorly prepped colons during a colonoscopy.
2. The system already received FDA 510(k) clearance and is being introduced on a pilot basis in the U.S.
3. Motus GI plans on introducing the device in the European market over the next 24 months.
4. Motus CEO Mark Pomeranz said, “We believe the Pure-Vu System has the potential to improve clinical outcomes while significantly reducing costs, particularly in our initial target market of difficult-to-prep in-patient colonoscopy.”
5. Motus GI recently closed its initial public offering, missing its goal by more than $10 million.
