NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence, Columbia University collaborate to expand orthopedic options

Bronxville-based NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital entered into a collaboration with New York City-based Columbia University Medical Center to expand its orthopedic offerings, Westfair Communications reports.

1. Columbia physicians will see patients in Bronxville and Tarrytown, N.Y., with Lawrence Hospital serving as the primary surgical services spot.

2. The hospital will begin offering outpatient services and a joint replacement program as a result of the collaboration.

3. Jeffrey Geller, MD, was appointed chief of orthopedic surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital.
