The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health granted Jennifer D'Amico, DPM, an advanced ankle surgery permit.
Here's what you should know:
1. As a result of the privilege, Dr. D'Amico will expand her services to accommodate additional ankle procedures including ankle fracture fixation, ankle fusion and ankle arthroscopy, among others.
2. To earn the privilege, Dr. D'Amico completed a three-year residency program.
3. She said, "It is an honor to earn this privilege and be able to expand the scope of my practice. As a podiatric surgeon, I am dedicated to continually advancing my knowledge and skills in order to offer the latest foot and ankle procedures and the highest level of care so I can help my patients get back on their feet."
