The new ASCs, outpatient centers in the Midwest

Here are six new ASCs and outpatient centers that have opened, gained approval or broken ground in the Midwest, as reported by Becker’s since July 25:

  1. St. Louis-based SSM Health cut the ribbon on a new outpatient campus in Sun Prairie, Wis. 
  2. Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children’s Hospital received approval from the New Albany (Ohio) Planning Commission to move forward with a 170,000-square-foot outpatient medical center.
  3. Columbus-based OhioHealth opened its new $31 million Canal Winchester (Ohio) Health Center.
  4. Hospital Sisters Health System St. Elizabeth’s Hospital broke ground on a new outpatient surgery center and medical office building in O’Fallon, Ill.
  5. Canton, Ill.-based Graham Health System broke ground on a $5.1 million ASC in Galesburg, Ill.
  6. GI Alliance and MedCore Partners opened an ASC and managed clinic in Kansas City, Mo.
