Here are six new ASCs and outpatient centers that have opened, gained approval or broken ground in the Midwest, as reported by Becker’s since July 25:
- St. Louis-based SSM Health cut the ribbon on a new outpatient campus in Sun Prairie, Wis.
- Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children’s Hospital received approval from the New Albany (Ohio) Planning Commission to move forward with a 170,000-square-foot outpatient medical center.
- Columbus-based OhioHealth opened its new $31 million Canal Winchester (Ohio) Health Center.
- Hospital Sisters Health System St. Elizabeth’s Hospital broke ground on a new outpatient surgery center and medical office building in O’Fallon, Ill.
- Canton, Ill.-based Graham Health System broke ground on a $5.1 million ASC in Galesburg, Ill.
- GI Alliance and MedCore Partners opened an ASC and managed clinic in Kansas City, Mo.
