Physicians have already opened a temporary clinic at the worksite, but it will expand as the plant develops. The larger facility is slated to open in May 2024.

The medical office will serve as a full-service clinic for the employees of employees of the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America and provide primary care, occupational health services, work injury care, a pharmacy, new employee health check-ups and more.

The clinic is currently open eight hours a day, but plans to expand to 16 hours and eventually 24 hours a day.

The system is also in the process of building a 10,000-square-foot medical office building across the interstate from the plant, which has the capacity to grow by an additional 40,000 square feet.
