New ASC Development

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente is opening a new medical office building in Salinas, Calif., according to a Dec. 3 report from the Monterey Herald.

A Sutter Health facility in Folsom, Calif., has earned approval from the city's planning commission after first being announced in January, according to a Dec. 2 report from ABC 10.

The American Pain Consortium has opened a new ASC in Brownsburg, Ind., specializing in interventional pain management. 

HCA Healthcare affiliate Surgery Ventures has partnered with healthcare real estate development firm NexCore Group to open an ASC and medical office building in Katy, Texas.

Colorado Springs (Colo.) Cardiology broke ground on a medical office building and ASC, according to a Nov. 26 report by The Gazette.

Georgetown, Del.-based Sussex Pain Relief Center is looking to open a pain management-focused ASC in Lewes, Del.,the Delaware Business Times reported Nov. 25. 

Covington, La.-based St. Tammany Health System will soon open a new $75 million ASC, Nola.com reported Nov. 21.

Cooper Green Mercy Health Services Authority, an affiliate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System, is opening a new Birmingham-based ambulatory care facility in December.
