Portland, Maine-based physician-owned practice, InterMed, is opening a medical office building and an ASC in Scarborough, Maine, according to an April 21 report from MaineBiz.
The two-story facility will span 62,000 square feet, and will be built in partnership with two medical real estate companies, Chicago-based Remedy Medical Properties and Boca Raton, Fla.-based Kayne Anderson Real Estate.
The new center will offer primary care, urgent care, OB-GYN care, and advanced imaging and surgical services, according to the report.
It is expected to be completed in fall 2026.
