Minnesota hospital begins removing debris at potential future campus with ASC: 4 notes

Stillwater, Minn.-based Lakeview Health hired a construction crew to start clearing debris at the potential future site of a Lakeview Hospital campus in Stillwater, according to Twin Cities Pioneer Press.

Here are four things to know:

1. A hospital spokeswoman said the construction crew was hired to do routine cleanup and maintenance of the 68-acre plot of land.

2. In June 2017, Lakeview Health presented a concept plan to the Stillwater City Council for a new hospital campus at the site.

3. The plan includes a 96-bed, three-story hospital with an ASC, medical office building and senior housing, according to the report.

4. Lakeview Health signed a purchase agreement in May 2017 for the land.
