Fox Eye Surgery plans to spend nearly $90K on outpatient facility

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Fox Eye Surgery gained approval to establish an outpatient facility for nearly nine times the original cost, according the State Health Facilities Council's report of projects reviewed in fiscal year 2018.

Fox Eye Surgery initially gained approval in July 2017 to build the surgical facility for $10,000. The cost of the project was later modified to $88,220, and Fox Eye Surgery underwent a rehearing.

The project was approved in November 2017 with the updated cost.
