EmergeOrtho’s Brunswick Surgery Center underway, on schedule: 3 insights

Wilmington, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho broke ground on Brunswick Surgery Center July 26, and construction is going according to plan.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The center is being developed in phases. Therapy and pain management spaces are expected to open in June 2019, followed by an orthopedic clinic in August and a surgery center in December.

2. The Leland, N.C.-based ASC will be Brunswick County’s first dedicated orthopedic outpatient surgery center.

3. EmergeOrtho Marketing and Business Development Director Jennifer Loper said the organization is “receiving lots of positive feedback from the public and community” regarding the new orthopedic facility and surgery center.
