Here’s what you should know:
1. Construction on the 163,500-square-foot Lee Health – Coconut Point complex began in May 2017.
2. The first floor will feature a 24-hour emergency room, a surgery center, imaging services, a breast health center, cardiac testing and rehabilitation services.
3. The second floor will be home to Lee Physician Group clinics and exam rooms, four operating rooms and 23 preoperative and postoperative surgical units.
4. More than 200 employees will staff the new facility.
