Dental surgical center to replace ‘long-time eyesore’ — 3 insights

Two dentists won approval to build a surgery center in Milford, Conn., Patch reports.

Three insights:

1. Paul Ciuci, DMD, MD, and Joseph Perrone, DMD, MD, are planning a 5,000-square-foot building to house their practice, Milford & Derby (Conn.) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

2. A gas station and a used car sales center previously occupied the site where the physicians are building their center. The property was “a long-time eyesore,” according to minutes from the Planning and Zoning Board meeting where the physicians gained approval.

3. Drs. Ciuci and Perrone expect to close on the property by mid-June.
