Canton-Potsdam (N.Y.) Hospital is constructing an outpatient surgical facility in Potsdam, The Daily Times reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. The facility will be two stories and will house a procedural center and physician offices.
2. When complete, the facility will be approximately 10,000 square feet.
3. The hospital will shift some of its inpatient caseload to the new facility once complete. Hospital officials believe the new facility will alleviate caseload demands placed on the hospital.
4. The Potsdam Village Planning Board approved the site plan.
