3. He earned his doctor of dentistry degree from Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Portland-based Oregon Health and Science University. He completed a general surgery internship at UC Los Angeles and an oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Eftekhari completed a head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Fort Worth, Texas-based John Peter Smith Medical Center.
