Atlanta medical school plans $26.5M multispecialty ASC

Atlanta-based Morehouse School of Medicine plans to establish a multispecialty ASC, according to a letter of intent filed Oct. 27.

The project would cost an estimated $26.5 million. MSM must submit its project application to the Georgia Department of Community Health by Nov. 26.

Led today by President and Dean Valerie Montgomery Rice, MD, Morehouse School of Medicine was founded in 1975 as Atlanta-based Morehouse College’s medical education program. It became an independently chartered entity in 1981.
