$8.4M joint venture ASC gets New York state approval — 4 insights

New York’s Public Health and Health Planning Council approved OrthoNY, Albany ENT & Allergy Services PC, and St. Peter’s Hospital’s plan to build an $8.4 million outpatient surgery center, Albany Business First reports. All organizations are based in Albany, N.Y.

1. The joint venture already broke ground on the 22,000-square-foot-medical office building.

2. Construction on the building will be complete in June, then developers will construct the surgery center.

3. Once complete, Albany ENT will move into the building’s first floor. The surgery center will be on the second floor.

4. The groups predict 4,415 procedures will be performed in the surgery center the first year its operational.
