What you should know:
1. Dr. Rogers said OSF HealthCare has been rapidly expanding its services based on community needs and values. “Bariatric surgery is a service line we don’t currently have in Champaign-Urbana or Danville,” he told The News-Gazette. “Nor do we have an ASC in Champaign-Urbana.”
2. The health system plans to enhance patient care and surgery areas in two hospitals it purchased in February 2018, although no major renovations are planned. The hospitals are in Urbana, Ill., and Danville, Ill.
3. OSF HealthCare opened two Champaign, Ill.-based urgent care centers in the past year, and two more urgent care centers are expected to open this spring.
