Kenny Hancock joins Partners Surgical Corp. as chief business development officer: 4 key points

Houston-based Partners Surgical Corp. named ASC industry veteran Kenny Hancock the company’s new chief business development officer.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Hancock is a fixture in the Nashville healthcare scene, spending more than three decades in the area establishing and growing entrepreneurial companies. His experience includes developing new healthcare facilities, mergers and acquisitions, project development and syndication and facility expansion.

2. Mr. Hancock previously served as chief development officer of OrthoLink Physicians Corp. and president and CDO of Meridian Surgical Partners.

3. Partners Surgical was founded last year to focus on acquiring, developing and managing multispecialty ASCs. It’s backed by Boston-based Silversmith Capital Partners.

4. At Meridian Surgical Partners, Mr. Hancock offered his expertise to developing spine and orthopedic ASCs.
