AMA names Todd Unger CXO, SVP of physician engagement: 4 key notes

The American Medical Association hired Todd Unger to fill the role of chief experience officer and senior vice president of physician engagement.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Unger previously served as the chief digital officer and chief marketing officer at Daily Racing Forum. While there, he led the digital transformation of the media and gaming platform.

2. He previously spent a decade in brand management and advertising at Procter & Gamble and Leo Burnett.

3. In his new role, Mr. Unger will be responsible for furthering AMA’s efforts to provide physicians an easy, digital access to information they need to care for patients.

4. Mr. Unger earned his MBA from Harvard University in Boston.

“I am excited to join the AMA team at such a pivotal point for our nation’s healthcare system,” said Mr. Unger. “Working alongside senior leadership and staff and in partnership with America’s physicians, I look forward to helping the AMA’s ongoing efforts to improve the health of the nation.”
