5 facts on Society of Interventional Pain Management Surgery Centers’ President-Elect Dr. Amol Soin

The Society of Interventional Pain Management Surgery Centers and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians Foundation elected Amol Soin, MD, president.

1. Dr. Soin is the president and medical director of Soin Neuroscience in Dayton, Ohio.

2. After earning his medical degree from Rootstown-based Northeast Ohio Medical University, he completed a residency at Rush University in Chicago and a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

3. Dr. Soin has published several peer-reviewed medical journals and has authored textbook chapters on pain management.

4. He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Dayton, Ohio-based Wright State University.

5. The Ohio Society of Interventional Pain Physicians bestowed its “Compassionate Physician Award” on Dr. Soin in 2010.
