Mayo Clinic-Rochester was named the “Best Hospital for Gastroenterology and GI Surgery” in 2025-26, according to U.S. News & World Report’s rankings.

The publication released the list July 29, which ranks the top 50 hospitals that provide services including stomach, esophageal, digestive, pancreatic, liver, colon, bowel and rectal procedures and care for conditions such as IBD, cirrhosis and hepatitis.

Each hospital was given a score with a possible 100 points, with the ratings primarily based on survival rates for serious cases, patient experience and other performance measures that can be assessed using hard data.

Here are the top 52 hospitals in 2025-26 for gastroenterology and GI surgery, along with their score out of 100:
