Takeda, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America launch IBD awareness campaign: 4 takeaways

Takeda Pharmaceutical, in partnership with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, launched IBD Unmasked, a global awareness initiative.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Takeda invited seven people to meet with Marvel Custom Solutions in New York City and share their stories of living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.

2. The Marvel writers created graphic illustration series, housed at www.IBDunmasked.com. Every view the series garners will result in Takeda donating $1 to CCFA, up to $25,000.

3. In addition to the graphic series, the website is designed to engage visitors with interactive activities and educational materials that relate to managing IBD.

4. Countries in Europe, Asia and South America will also launch the initiative throughout the year.
