St. Joesph Memorial Hospital embarks on $3.5M endoscopy center expansion

St. Joesph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, Ill., has undertaken a $3.5 million expansion of its endoscopy center, according to a report by The Southern.

According to Hospital Administrator John Brothers, the hospital is in between phase one and phase two of the expansion. The entire expansion will include the addition of 9,000 more square feet and a total of 18 recovery rooms.

Construction is scheduled to be completed by early March, according to the report.
