Bend, Ore.-based St. Charles Health System has partnered with WovenX Health, a leader in virtual gastroenterology care.

The partnership aims to increase access to GI services for patients in the area, streamlining care delivery and improving patient outcomes, according to a June 10 news release.

Currently, demand for GI services in the region is growing faster than local supply. WovenX will help to close those gaps, bringing patients timely care, reducing wait times and easing emergency room strain through its on-demand virtual visit platform.

St. Charles patients will have access to the 24/7 virtual platform, which, on average, reduces patient wait times by three to six months, according to the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
