Solos Endoscopy to expand device distribution to Canada

Solos Endoscopy, a healthcare instruments company, has filed a Canadian Medical Device License, which will allow the company to sell certain endoscopic instruments in Canada.

Manufacturers selling Class II, III and IV medical devices in Canada are required to have the medical device license. The MDL process is comparable to the FDA 510(k) process in the United States, according to the report.
