Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Medical Partners added Nimal Patel, DO, to practice out of the system's Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based location, the Murfreesboro Post reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. Dr. Patel earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Kansas City (Mo.) University of Medicine and Bioscience. He completed a residency and fellowship at South Miami, Fla.-based Larkin Community Hospital.
2. Dr. Patel is an American College of Osteopathic Internists, American Osteopathic Association, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and American College of Gastroenterology member.
3. Outside of his practice, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, exercising, music and spending time with friends and family.
