1. Dr. Patel earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Kansas City (Mo.) University of Medicine and Bioscience. He completed a residency and fellowship at South Miami, Fla.-based Larkin Community Hospital.
2. Dr. Patel is an American College of Osteopathic Internists, American Osteopathic Association, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and American College of Gastroenterology member.
