Review: Resistant Starch Could Help Body Resist Colorectal Cancer

A review published in Current Opinion in Gastroenterology, shows that resistant starch could help the body resist colorectal cancer through mechanisms including killing pre-cancerous cells and reducing inflammation.

Researchers from the University of Colorado Cancer Center describe studies that have found that rats fed resistant starch showed decreased numbers and sizes of lesions due to colorectal cancer.
